With Jukebox Synchronizer you don't have to worry about remembering which files you've added to your collection that need to be copied over to your jukebox. Jukebox Synchronizer takes care of everything for you. All changes you make to your music library via Explorer or any other tool is automatically implemented on the jukebox (and vice versa). Jukebox Synchronizer will also create playlists consisting of newly added files- allowing you to play back your 'new' files later quickly and easily.

This is an example of what happens during synchronization:
| Folder structures before synch | |
| PC Library | Jukebox |
| \Rock\Led Zep - Stairway to Heaven.mp3 \Rock\The Eagles - Hotel California |
\Rock\Led Zep - Stairway to Heaven.mp3 |
| Folder structure after synch | |
| PC Library | Jukebox |
| \Rock\Led Zep - Stairway to Heaven.mp3 \Rock\The Eagles - Hotel California |
\Rock\Led Zep - Stairway to Heaven.mp3 \Rock\The Eagles - Hotel California |
How can Jukebox Synchronizer tell that "The Eagles - Hotel California.mp3" is an add to the Jukebox library and not a delete from the PC Library? The Jukebox Synchronizer keeps a snapshot of the files in both locations. Therefore it can track what is a delete and what is an add by comparing the current folders to the last snapshot taken of the library. Because of this, the "first" synchronization never includes 'deletes' because Jukebox Synchronizer can't determine what constitutes a delete.
Remember, synchronization can go both ways! Changes made to the jukebox can automatically be implemented on your PC when you synchronize depending on your settings. For more detailed information on how JBSynch's synchronization works click here.

The settings window allows you to customize what happens during
synchronization and playlist creation. Your settings are remembered and you do
not have to visit the Settings window each time you load Jukebox Synchronizer.
Here you also enter what folders will be synchronized. Remember, although they
are designated as "source" and "destination" synchronization
can go BOTH ways depending on your settings. For example
Source: C:\Music
Dest: G:\
means that your music library is located in C:\Music on your hard drive and your
Jukebox's drive letter is G:\. If you keep ALL your mp3's in a subfolder of the
Jukebox drive letter (like G:\mp3) then you would specify that folder. All files
and folders under these these folders will be included in the synchronization.
All playlists will be created in these folders using the prefixes you specified.
If a playlist exceeds the 'entries per playlist' settings it will be broken up
into multiple files (All1.m3u, All2.m3u, etc.).
Note: All playlists employ a randomized shuffle that ensures no songs repeat! Each time you synchronize the playlists are reshuffled and updated.

The Playlists From Folders feature will create a set of playlists based on the folders you specify. For instance, if you organize your library into genres you can create a playlist that spans genres like in the example above. Jukebox Synchronizer will automatically update these playlists if new files are added to the folders with no extra effort on your part. The playlists are split up and shuffled the same way the "All" and "New" playlists are and are updated and reshuffled each time you synchronize.

The Managed Playlists feature allows you to verify and reshuffle playlists of your choosing.

You can also specify programs to run automatically at the end of each synchronization.

Jukebox Synchronizer is not limited to synchronizing only between your Jukebox and your hard drive! You can create different configs each with their own settings for different folders on your hard drive.

The Playlist Builder is a handy M3U Editor that helps create playlists compatible with your jukebox. Click here for more.
