Rhiannon's Desktop & Browser FAQ

1. Q. RhDnB is appropriate for what age groups?
   A. Ages 3 to 9
2. Q. Does RhDnB change my system or mess up my desktop?
   A. No. RhDnB doesn't change Internet Explorer or your desktop at all. They are totally separate programs that you launch from your normal desktop.
3. Q. How do you exit the RhDnB desktop?
   A. CTRL+X will exit the desktop.
4. Q. Does the browser perform "smart nanny" web blocking features?
   A. No. However, there is no address bar so the child is limited to paths that start from their customizable start page. Also, since the browser is simply a shell around IE, you may install 3rd party blocking software. The browser also limits some of the things the child can do (the right-click is disabled, popups are managed differently, etc.)
5. Q. Can the desktop be customized in the sense of putting my own picture instead of the hill-with-tree motif?
   A. No. This is a feature currently planned for future release.
6. Q. As my child grows older I find I need more powerful password features and web blocking stuff.
   A. RhDnB is intended for very small children to be able to browse sites such as Sesame Street and Nick Jr.
